Student Health & Wellness
The Student Health & Wellness Referral Network assists Chicago School students in obtaining quality, discounted mental health services. The program helps students identify providers who may be a good fit based on specialties, experience and background, geographic location, and clinical approach.
The Chicago School contracts with therapy providers to work with students. If the student utilizes the provider in the network, the school will pay for the first two sessions (with student consent), which includes an intake and a therapy session. If students have health insurance, they may use their insurance as well; however, the student’s portion of the fee is a capped rate of $65 for therapy visits.
To learn more about providers and other therapy options, contact Dr. Marilisa Morea, Associate Director of Clinical Services at mmorea@thechicagoschool.edu. Referral services for California students can be obtained by contacting Jay Burke at jburke@thechicagoschool.edu.
We are currently developing an online, self search database on eGo for locating providers and will create a hyperlink when this is functioning.
