Internship takes place during students' final year in the program. Students will meet on campus once a month during the academic year and are required to complete a minimum of 1200 hours. Please be sure to look over the
Internship Manual and direct any questions you may have to your seminar professor.

Overview: Psychologist Intern works with District 86 Psychologists to assist building teams in implementing RtI, building - wide behavioral systems, IEP process and supporting social/emotional component of educational needs.
The Joliet Public Schools provides a progressive educational environment in an urban multicultural community serving preschool through 8th grade children. An RtI model is currently being implemented across the district. The intern will be provided with experiences in the areas of consultation, screening, evaluation, intervention, and eligibility and IEP conference participation.
Requirements: Must be enrolled in a State approved Psychologist Program, Bilingual preferred.
