The Editions du Centre de Psychologie Appliquée (ECPA)

The Editions du Centre de Psychologie Appliquée (ECPA) is the first French publisher of assessment instruments in France. Composed of psychologists, statisticians and practitioners, ECPA’s Department of Integrated Research and Development translates and adapts highly acclaimed international assessments such as the WISC-IV, WPPSI-III, and K-ABC, to make them more applicable to French-speaking populations. Furthermore, the ECPA develops a full-range of cognitive assessments that are recognized nationally and internationally for their practical and psychometric utility. The newest addition to their cognitive assessments is the K-Classic.
Drs. Alan and Nadeen Kaufman worked collaboratively with the ECPA to help create the K-Classic, which is a brief, computerized cognitive ability test. Developed from Luria’s three block model, the K-Classic measures the same fluid and crystallized intelligence and sequential-simultaneous processing constructs as the K-ABC-II.
