Community Partnerships creates a bridge between The Chicago School and the local and global communities in which it resides. This bridge supports students, faculty, staff and community partners in their quest to create reciprocal learning, inspiration, engagement and service, resulting in a transformational experience for all.

AWARDS AND AFFILIATIONS

For the fifth consecutive year, The Chicago School(TCSPP) was named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll granted by the Corporation for National and Community Service. For the past two years, TCSPP was the only school of professional psychology to receive this award “with distinction.”
AmeriCorps VISTA is the national service program has been on the front lines in the fight against poverty in America for more than 45 years. VISTA members commit to serve full-time for a year at a nonprofit organization or local government agency, working to fight illiteracy, improve health services, create businesses, strengthen community groups, and much more.

Reflecting its deep commitment to community service and engagement, The Chicago School of Professional Psychology was one of 115 colleges and universities in the United States and one of three in Illinois to receive the 2010 Engagement Classification from the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.commitment to and demonstration of community engagement."

Illinois Campus Compact is a
coalition of colleges and universities bonded together to actively
engage presidents, faculty, staff and students to promote a renewed
vision of higher education – one that supports not only the civic
development of students, but also the campus as an active and engaged
member of its community.
