L.A. Campus Student Wins FMHAC Scholarship
Jessica Karabinus of the L.A. Campus was one of three students recognized this year with a $1,000 scholarship from the
Forensic Mental Health Association of California (FMHAC). Karabinus, a first-year student in the Clinical Forensic Psy.D. program, was honored in Seaside, Calif., as part of the keynote presentation at FMHAC’s annual conference.
“I was honored not only to be one of three chosen, but also because the scholarship was awarded to me at my first professional conference,” said Karabinus. “I was truly impacted by the opportunity to converse and network with leaders in forensic mental health here in California. I feel that I was also able to make an impact on these individuals, representing the presence of a new forensic program in California at The Chicago School.”
