More than 45 Training Sites Attend OPT Appreciation Event

In an effort to acknowledge the many training sites who work with Chicago School students every year, the Office of Placement and Training (OPT) opened its doors October 8 for an appreciation event. More than 45 sites attended, largely represented by the supervisors who work directly with TCS students on a daily basis. The event served as an opportunity for the OPT staff to meet and greet colleagues in the field, share a glass of wine and appetizers, as well provide tours by the Admission staff volunteers to show off the new look of The Chicago School’s third floor.

The Office of Placement and Training has committed to several more upcoming events including free seminars for CEU certification. Thanks to the work of OPT and training sites, Chicago School students and faculty are on pace this year to contribute more than 600,000 hours of pro bono or low-cost services to the community.
